Handheld Vibration Meter

The Handheld Vibration Meter puts predictive maintenance and preliminary vibration analysis into the hands of on-board personnel, it is also suitable for repair yards.  The meter provides an indication of the vibration's severity even if the vibration is not physically evident.  Utilizing this information the user has an early warning of an impending problem; they can monitor a vibration induced by a mechanical fault, a damaged coupling or a bent shaft.  The meter can also be used for acceptance testing to determine if something falls within acceptable limits.

  • For commercial, professionally crewed private vessels and boat yards.
  • 9-Volt battery powered.
  • Provides measurements in either acceleration (g) or velocity (in/sec).
  • Complies with ISO 2954 and ISO 10816.
  • Comes with vibration sensor and easy-mount magnet.
